Marian is an experienced business leader and director. She has over 28 years of experience working in both the private and public sector in Ireland and internationally. She brings empathy, pragmatism and breadth and depth of leadership experience to her coaching clients.

Prior to joining Praesta, Marian held a number of senior leadership positions in Accenture including Head of Management Consulting, Global Lead for Finance and Performance Management, Senior Client Consulting Director, and membership of the Accenture Ireland board.  She currently serves as a non-executive director on the board of IDA Ireland and is a member of the Public Service Pay Commission.

During her career with Accenture, she worked with senior clients across diverse industries in the private and public sector in the US, Europe, UK and Ireland to shape and deliver transformational organisational, business and technology change. She has hands on experience in strategic planning, implementing technology and organisational change and in building successful teams in Accenture and with client organisations.

Throughout her career, Marian has had a passion for people development and in particular the growth of the next generation of leaders. This strong belief in the importance, value and power of effective leadership, and ongoing professional development informs her Executive Coaching practice.

Being an authentic and effective leader has never been more important: The need for executives to navigate the complexity and uncertainty of the business and technology environment and to ensure their teams remain engaged, has never been greater. Marian engages with executives through the coaching process, helping them to increase self-awareness, resilience, confidence in themselves and their teams and bringing clarity and purpose to their leadership.

Marian holds a Diploma in Executive and Leadership Coaching, a professional certificate in coaching (PCC) from the Henley Business School and a Certificate in Company Direction from the IoD. Marian is a member of the Institute of Directors and she serves as Chair of the Alumni council at Dublin City University.
