Kevin Bowers has a unique combination of over 10 years experience as a senior executive career coach, together with senior and global business experience.

In his executive life he led major projects, restructured manufacturing plants, and increased productivity.

He has achieved high level accreditation by completing a Masters in Coaching degree and has played a leading role in developing the Praesta coaching business in Ireland. In often challenging environments, his clients have achieved consistently successful outcomes from their coaching programmes.

Kevin is a former Plant Manager of Becton Dickinson. He then joined Baxter Healthcare becoming General Manager of Ireland, Vice President of European Operations, and then Vice President of Corporate Supply Chain Management in their Corporate Headquarters in Chicago.

He has extensive experience in positions requiring strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills in an international environment. He has also had hands on experience in strategic planning, and implementing change management and organisational restructuring.

In 2001 he left the corporate environment to establish his own consultancy business specialising in a number of areas relating to his career experience. He has subsequently gained extensive experience coaching many individual leaders in Ireland’s leading Executive career coaching provider.

As a former leader of Praesta Ireland he has also been a member of Praesta’s International Board.  He has coached in most sectors of Irish business including Financial Services, Healthcare Technology, Pharmaceutical, Electronic, Professional Services, Media, Environmental, the University sector and many small/medium enterprises (SMEs). He has developed a significant practice in team coaching within his portfolio.

He holds an MA from Trinity College, Dublin and is a Master Career  Coach accredited by Middlesex University. He has become an accredited Team Coach and has recently qualified as an EMCC accredited Coach Supervisor. He is a keen sports enthusiast – rugby, golf, tennis and is currently a member of a choral group.

He is a former chairman of a number of major fund raising events and served on the Chief Marshal’s committee for the 2004 and 2009 Irish Open Golf Championship, Baltray, Co. Louth. He recently completed a number of years as Chairman of the Board of Fighting Blindness, a global leader in the search for cures and treatments for blindness.
